<b>Lowongan Kerja</b> Coorporate Engagement Director BUT Conservation <b>...</b> Posted: 17 Jul 2010 06:45 AM PDT Lowongan Kerja Coorporate Engagement Director BUT Conservation International July 17, 2010 BUT Conservation International He/she is reporting to Vice President Indonesia, in Jakarta who will engage directly with Indonesia-based industry leaders to promote Conservation International and its programs. The Director will cultivate and manage partnerships in agriculture, energy, mining, forestry, and other sectors. The Director will help CI meet its corporate contribution goals and establish mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with leading businesses and trade associations. The Director will coordinate negotiations of corporate partner agreements in program areas including climate leadership and forest carbon, field conservation projects, business tools for conservation, joint communications initiatives and involvement in leadership forums. The Director will manage multi-faceted relationships with large scale companies and interact with senior executives at those companies to establish partnerships at the 6-7 figure level. In serving as CI’s primary Indonesia point of contact in selected major corporate relationships, the Director will draw upon, synthesize and manage participation from all parts of the organization necessary to ensure the success of the relationships. In major corporate account relationships, the Director will integrate input from various divisions of CI, as well as CI’s executive leadership and legal and finance departments, in all phases of the relationship including concept development, proposal writing, deal negotiation, project management, reporting, evaluation and communications. CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Lead the establishment and stewardship of 6-7 figure, multi-year partnerships with leading Indonesian and multinational companies and corporate foundations; 2. Develop and write funding proposals; 3. Identify and cultivate relationships with new prospective corporate partners for CI 4. Manage the implementation of major corporate partnerships, including coordination of Indonesia-based staff and other CI offices around the world in the execution of projects in Indonesia. Key sectors of focus include agriculture (particularly palm oil), mining and oil & gas, among others 5. Actively manage, participate in, and, in some cases, lead CI events with corporate and other partners to promote CI activities and mission in the region. Qualifications and Skills Required: (Applicants not meeting required skills may not be hired) 1. Master Degree, with 5+ years experience in corporate partnership development and management 2. Presence and ability to establish strong relationships with senior executives in partner companies 3. Ability to leverage corporate relationships and fundraising in support of CI institutional objectives for communications, marketing and branding 4. Ability to create innovative strategies, partnerships, and programs without existing models 5. Demonstrated fundraising experience 6. Good working knowledge of public policy and private sector developments on the environment at the international, national, state and local levels 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 8. Collaborative spirit and ability to work in team settings across cultures and internally within a diverse institution 9. Ability to deliver results while managing competing priorities under tight deadlines 10. Ability to interact effectively with corporate partners and with other non-governmental organizations 11. Passion for the conservation of nature and the involvement of businesses in the solution to the world's most pressing environmental challenges 12. Knowledge of Asia / Indonesia and experience working in the region Terms of offer: * This position is based in Jakarta with international travel is required. * This is a national professional contract term position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract is for a period of 1 (one) year, with possibility of renewal, subject to assessment of performance, and availability of resources.
